IBSA is a non-profit organisation that aims to identify centers of excellence in breast surgery and their physicians, to centralise their knowledge and consequently share that knowledge with all scientists, physicians and care providers involved in oncologic, reconstructive and aesthetic breast surgery.
The International Breast Surgery Alliance (IBSA) is a new international alliance founded in 2017 by a group of plastic surgeons, with particular expertise in breast surgery. The leading idea behind the creation of IBSA was to re-discuss and refresh the already existing guidelines and set out new one for the future.
IBSA members are: Professor Jian Farhadi from Zurich, Professor Jaume Masia from Barcellona, Professor Phillip Blondeel from Gent, Professor Christoph Andree from Dusseldorf, Dr Roy the Vita and Dr Stefano Pompei from Rome and Dr Nicolas Leymarie from Paris.
